Sara Ahmed, PhD, is a physical therapist and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, McGill University, and Associate Member in Epidemiology and Family Medicine. She is the scientific director of the Biomedical Research & Informatics Living Laboratory for Innovative Advances of New Technologies in Rehabilitation (BRILLIANT) (https://www.brilliant-cfi.ca) project that aims to develop transformative methods and technologies for interdisciplinary rehabilitation health professionals to tailor medical and psychosocial interventions to the needs of individuals with chronic conditions.
